Ph.D. Student

Bart is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Computational and Systems Biology Program. He rotated in the Muegge lab in 2023. During his rotation, Bart developed methods to quantify and remove UMI duplication in our bulk RNA-seq projects. He also generated and analyzed RNA-seq data from intestinal stem cells to identify candidate transcriptional regulators of regional identity. Bart completed his undergraduate studies at the College of New Jersey, and completed a Masters degree in Bioinformatics at Rowan University. In his free time, Bart is an avid cyclist and enjoys watching Bundesliga.
